studio session in progress:

Everything all at once

Project coming soon, 2026

"Everything, All At Once is where I lost myself completely-

it started as an idea sitting in my notes for nearly three years... music

After a season of high-highs and low-lows. I crashed and shattered.

Collecting each piece shattered of emotion, memory, identity, pressure, persistence, mistakes, love, losses, light and darkness into a solemn- isolation.

There, I faced the overwhelming feeling of holding every version of yourself in the same space at the same time choosing what's for keep & confetti throwing all else, releasing.

But that release isn't a moment. It's memory. Reminding yourself to put down the pieces that no longer serve you, over & over again. Remembering how they served you. Even remembering what's buried underneath, that wants to breathe again. Remembering who you were. Who you are.

I'm glad it took three years because these reminders helped cultivate this, not just music, but acknowledging all the pieces that play a part.

This now, immersive music and visual experience, is built around the intimacy of my inner world, nostalgic like checking your answering machine, after quite some time away; when the tape deck is full and the light blinks red with messages. Like missed calls, from the past, present, and future introducing the parts of myself that exist side by side: the sacred and the street, the thinker and the feeler, the poet, the child, the hermit, the lover, the artist, the sage, the doer, the don't-er, the imperfect- the still growing, still learning.

Everything, all at once- yet one thing a time.

Nice to meet you. Long time, no see. Glad to have found you."

This project contains:

  • Full-Length 20 track album
  • Visuals: Photography & Film
  • Curated art pieces- paintings

(all: still in development)

...designed to feel something like fragments, pieces of conversations, late-night thoughts, the forgotten, the archived memories, and emotional screenshots that finally form the story.

Everything All At Once creates a universe that feels exactly as it is, deeply personal, yet still universally familiar.

Each song, visual, and artwork piece carries its own identity while remaining connected to the same living world, me- shaped by vulnerability, survival, softness, discipline, chaos, intimacy, and becoming.

More than an art installation, more than an album, Everything, All At Once is my open archive, the static between connection & distance, clarity & confusion, silence & vulnerability, lost & found.

Every visual, sound, and detail exists as part of one continuous experience, inviting people to move through the project the same way memory moves through us: nonlinear, layered, and all at once.

Stay tuned...

ARTWORK

Boxx The Artist is an interdisciplinary artist, musician, and writer creating immersive worlds through visual art, music, film, photography, and storytelling. Rooted in emotional memory, Black life, identity, and cultural reflection, her work explores the tension between vulnerability and survival, softness and pressure, intimacy and performance.

Her practice often transforms everyday moments, conversations, environments, and memories into emotional archives — drawing inspiration from the interior life of nostalgia, family, and the beauty found within ordinary Black experiences. Boxx approaches her art as one continuous language where music, visuals, writing, and storytelling exist alongside one another.

As her work evolves, she continues expanding her narrative through immersive world-building, blending traditional mediums with contemporary visual language and sound to create spaces that honor complexity, humanity, memory, and becoming.

Boxx has participated in numerous residencies, fellowships, apprenticeships, lectures, panels, curatorial projects, and public art initiatives. Her work has been featured in more than 60 exhibitions across galleries, museums, and art spaces, including 8 solo exhibitions and over 15 public art installations, alongside countless commissions and acquisitions. Her work and practice have been highlighted by local and national media outlets including FOX59, WISH-TV, WRTV, ABC, IndyStar, NUVO, and The Indianapolis Recorder.
