Social Distancing, Pilot Script, 2026, (work-in-progress)
Social Distancing is a pilot script following the journey of a mid-thirties queer woman with social anxiety navigating a very social world, acting as the emotional bridge between several disconnected friend groups that only intersect through her. Juggling the complexities of friendships, relationships, and career transitions we get to see the inner word of navigating the unforgiving in-between space, well into adulthood.

An evolving book project centered on the creative journey. Part reflection, part guide, and part capacity builder, Boxx draws from lived experience as a working artist for the past 10 years. The manuscript explores creativity, self-discovery, artistic sustainability, and the tools needed to build a practice that remains both authentic and enduring. Rooted in building a life, not just a career, this book offers actionable resources for the working artist.

The Women in Between, Research Study Project, 2023
The Women in Between, is an interdisciplinary research study project exploring visibility, and the lived experiences of dark-skinned Black women. Through portraiture, photography, film, oral histories, and archival research, the project examines how beauty standards, representation, and memory shape identity. Rooted in both personal experience and collective history, the work creates space for conversations around belonging, perception, and the complexities of being seen.
